| My knowledge of Mark Gallup prior to our first encounter was limited to pictures of his I’d seen. I knew he was a bit of legend—a history anchored to a mug shot and profile in a TWS feature on snowboard photographers I’d read back in seventh grade. Our introduction on a photo shoot eliminated some of the mystery.
